Teaching Training
- I was a TEACH (Teaching Effectiveness And Career enHancement) program fellow, 2017-2018. TEACH is an amazing program that assists PhD students in further developing teaching skills and exploring faculty roles.
- I was an American Society for Microbiology (ASM) Science Teaching Fellow (STF), 2015-2016. This program (now called the Best Practices in Curriculum Design, Teaching, and Assessment course) is a 5-month development opportunity to help prepare doctoral-trained students for science teaching positions at a variety of non-doctoral institutions.
